Blanes Instruments (Pty) Ltd was incorporated as a private company in 2003. Its history however dates back to 1992 where it emerged as a small Close Corporation created by founding member, Mr Paul Dhooge and his erstwhile partner.

Paul Dhooge, the Managing Director of Blanes Instruments (Pty) Ltd, has many years of commercial engineering experience having worked for STC Altech in the R&D Laboratory for a number of years before venturing out on his own. Paul has effectively marketed and maintained instruments in this country for the past 24 years.

He Holds a National Higher Diploma T4 in Electrical Engineering from Pretoria Technikon. He also successfully completed the MAP Course at Wits Business School in early 1993.

Paul is focused and driven and he brings a wealth of technical expertise to the multifaceted industry to which products are supplied. Paul is never complacent and satisfied with where he is at and what he has achieved. He is constantly driven to improve his own knowledge and skill as well as the skills level and experience of each and every employee.
